Alexandre Cruz

Member of the Visual Effects Society (VES), Alexandre has been working for more than 25 years as compositing artist and visual effects supervisor. He has coordinated teams of artists and assisted directors in shooting sets of the country's main production companies, first at 5.6 Filmes (1995 to 1999), from 1999 to 2005 at Conspiração Filmes and then at O2 Filmes (2005 and 2006).

As a digital visual effects specialist, he has worked for clients such as Volkswagen, General Motors, Ford, Fiat, Peugeot, Renault, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Gatorade, Grendene, Natura, L'Oreal, Telefônica, Vivo, Tim, Oi, Claro, Samsung, among others. In feature films he was image compositing coordinator of "Redentor" and "Casa de Areia".

He started his director's career as a partner on his production company "Nuclear" working for clients such as Oi (nbs), Coca-Cola (McCann Erickson), Bob's (nbs), Globo (CGCOM), Grendene (Escala), Cultura Inglesa (Binder), Vivo (Young & Rubicam), Anhanguera (Ogilvy), CNA and Monsanto (E*-Inteligência Criativa) Coca-Cola (McCann Erikson), Baruel (Loducca), Samsung (Isobar) and Itaú (DPZ).

As a freelancer filmmaker worked for RedBull, UOL, Helm, Edwards Life Sciences, Jensen, Caloi, Cannondale, The Dorel Group and other clients.

Knowledge grew from post-production and directing to operating cameras, lighting, sound, drone piloting, gimball setup so the skills are enough from getting the idea and realize it, delivering the final product to the clients.

With a consolidated knowledge of the film advertising market his contacts are spread among all the players: RTVCs, DoPs, Film Rental Companies, Copywriters, Screenwriters, Directors, Producers, Location Producers, Casting Producers and all the professionals involved in this industry.
