Taught Adult Interventions course, providing instruction to students in the use of interventions to individual adults across a variety of diversity spectrums. Four principal theoretical orientations were examined as basis for interventions: behavioral, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic/psychoanalytic, and transtheoretical. Emphasis on experience of affect, therapist's registration and use of countertransference, and considerations of impact of multiple, reciprocally-influencing systems of therapeutic action.
