Scarlett R. Bush

Scarlett Bush is a strategic marketing and operations leader with a strong foundation in animation, video production, and creative operations. They currently serve as a Marketing Coordinator at Raborn Media, partnering closely with creative and digital teams to execute multi-channel campaigns and support client growth. In parallel, Scarlett works as a freelance animation and video creator under Scraffy Animations, bringing hands-on creative experience to a wide range of storytelling and motion projects.

Previously, Scarlett was the Director of Operations at Explainly, a San Francisco Bay Area–based animation and video agency. They have worked in the explainer video industry since 2016, bringing a background in production, writing, and operations. During their tenure at Explainly, Scarlett oversaw the production of hundreds of custom videos for major clients including Uber, CLEAR, and Chamberlain. They played a key role in scaling the company by building global creative teams, refining internal processes, and contributing to more than 40 industry awards.

Scarlett is passionate about storytelling and preserving the art of animation in an increasingly automated media landscape. Outside of work, they actively support independent cinema and creative communities, including CinemaSF and the Odyssey Film Institute in the Bay Area.
