The KPIX team has encountered some last-minute schedule changes and cannot host the VES visitors at this time. Exclusive tour of the Real-time Virtual Studio facilities at KPIX in San Francisco

KPIX Studios, 855 Battery St., San Francisco

Come witness a live demo of the latest in news broadcasting at the KPIX studios near the historic waterfront district in San Francisco!

Their news programs and weather reports feature real-time greenscreen keying and compositing over a real-time rendering of a Unreal Engine 3d environment.

This proved to be a very popular and rewarding excursion for the small group that got to do this last year. If you DID attend last year, please do not sign up for this, and allow other VES members the chance to be part of this tour.

We’ll get a specialized tech talk with the production and management team. Following the presentation and Q&A we’ll stay to watch the live 7pm newscast.
