The VES presented its 2018 Honors Celebration at an exclusive, invitation-only reception on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the Stardust Penthouse at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.. The evening was hosted by VES Chair, Mike Chambers. Part 1 features presentations to venerated visual effects innovator Jonathan Erland, VES with a Lifetime VES Membership and CEO of Tippett Studio, Jules Roman with an Honorary VES Membership. In addition, five members were given the title of VES Fellow- Craig Barron, VES; Joyce Cox, VES; Dan Curry, VES; Paul Debevec, VES; and Michael Fink, VES.
