Lyn Caudle

Lyn Caudle, is a Visual Effects Supervisor, Director of Photography, and Photographer, and has recently begun Directing as well. He has been in the industry for over 35 years. He worked at Janimation for almost 12 years providing Effects Animation, VFX Supervision, Lighting, and Creative Direction. He then spent 8 years working at ReelFX Creative Studios commercial division, “ATKPLN”, as a Senior Lighting and Compositing Artist, VFX Supervisor, Photographer, and Filmmaker. Now he is on to other things.

Before all that he ran his own company (CFX Special Effects) providing Special Physical Effects to the film and television industries. Lyn started his carrier on the effects crew of live action productions. Some of his most recognizable projects are: "Lonesome Dove" trilogy, "Problem Child", "Ace Ventura II - When Nature Calls", and the "Dallas" and "Walker - Texas Ranger" television series. His most notable accomplishments include an Emmy nomination for his first large scale project which was "Lonesome Dove"; he was also the only crew member to work on the entire "Lonesome Dove" trilogy."
