Dennis Serras

Hi fellow VES members! I've been a member now since 2010 and am very lucky to have been part of the Awards Committee the whole time, and as a co-chair or chair since 2022. I went to USC film school after a career as an art director, and the logical merge of the two led me to VFX. While working as an artist I found that I was spending more and more time writing and fixing tools, eventually moving into pipeline. I became a head of pipeline in 2016 (my last shot as an artist was on Captain America: Civil War...) and then started the studio-side VFX production toolset Artist Anywhere with the good folks at Redesign in 2019. Since then I've had the good fortune to have so many of you as clients, collaborators, and vendors and I'm a lucky man for it.
