Bruce Jones

Bruce Jones has been transporting audiences into some of Hollywood’s most memorable stories. As an Artist, Director, and Visual Effects Supervisor, his vision has helped shape many well-known titles, including three Star Trek series (The Next Generation, Deep Space 9, and Voyager), Sam Raimi’s Drag Me to Hell, The Italian Job, Green Hornet, Priest and Spawn, to name a few. A dynamic storyteller, Bruce was tasked with re-imagining Michael Jackson’s iconic “Thriller”, “Earth Song”, and “Smooth Criminal” videos for This Is It, Jackson’s planned comeback tour and the subsequent documentary.
He is formally trained in Fine Arts with an emphasis in painting, writing, music, and animation. Bruce began his career as an Art Director for the motion picture industry after graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara. His work since then has spanned feature film, television, animation, music videos, commercials, webisodes, 3D films, Imax, and more.
Jones added a new medium for his ideas with the September 2011 release of the first novel in his Great Rift Trilogy, The Becoming.
Bruce resides in Montana, Los Angeles, or whatever part of the world he’s currently filming in, which probably explains the depth of his imaginary worlds.
